Since 2019, ACS has become a premier resource for behavioral services for people with development disabilities including Autism and Intellectual Disability. We provide behavioral solutions across Shasta, Tehama and Butte Counties. We offer tailored services such as behavioral training, behavioral respite, community resource introductions, and crisis stabilization. Using evidence-based approaches, we empower caregivers and enhance the lives of those with developmental disabilities. Our commitment extends to ensuring safety, promoting sustainable change, and improving the quality of life for clients and their families.
Advanced Crisis Behavioral Services
For Families
To access our behavioral services, ensure your child is affiliated with your local Regional Center. If not, you should seek an eligibility assessment. Then, discuss your specific behavioral support needs with your service coordinator. Once referred, you can arrange for an Admissions Assessment. Once approved, you will begin receiving our specialized services.
For Regional Centers
Sending a referral to ACS is a simple process. Our behavior solutions, including behavioral crisis stabilization, behavior training, transitional services, and behavioral respite care, are available as standalone or combined services, tailored to the client and caregiver's unique needs. Upon receiving your referral, we will update you on the expected service timeline.
