Crisis Stabilization
Program Overview
At ACS, we specialize in crisis stabilization and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to help them live their best lives by partnering with and training caregivers. Our services cater to individuals aged 5-59 who are eligible for Regional Center services and exhibit challenging behavior. We address a range of behavioral needs in different living environments, such as family homes, residential facilities and hospital settings.
Our collaborative approach involves creating customized care plans, promoting community integration, and improving quality of life. Our successful track record providing behavioral services in Shasta, Tehama, and Butte Counties demonstrates our ability to achieve positive outcomes.
Crisis Stabilization
This program prevents acute crises from escalating, offering support for long-term success. Services include crisis stabilization plans, behavioral assessments, skill acquisition, training, respite, and access to community resources. Intended to be a temporary service program that spans 12-24 months.
Behavior Respite
Our Behavior Respite Program is focused on supporting families and caregivers. This program addresses burnout by providing an opportunity for rest, relief, and self care. Behavior Respite can seamlessly extend beyond our Crisis Stabilization Program, offering essential long-term support.
Transitional Services
Transitional services are essential for clients moving from one location to another. Our transitional services include comprehensive assessments, cross-training and relationship-building. Our goal is to partner with caregivers and facilitate a successful transition with practical behavioral strategies.
Behavioral Training
Our behavioral training series is crucial for client success and includes proactive strategies, de-escalation techniques, and crisis management for caregivers and providers. Customizable to specific client needs, these trainings are a core part of behavioral services and mission at ACS.
